News Flash: The “Body” Brush isn’t just for the body.
TLB Small vs Large Small = neck & face (longer, softer bristles)
Large = face, neck, crown & full-body (shorter, firmer bristles)
💦 Muscle Attachments & Myofascial Tension
Initially, we referred to the large TLB as the “body” brush, but it’s deceiving since it’s best for the neck, décolleté and working along the collarbone where there is an abundance of attachments and fascial restrictions that can lead to a taut and/or aged appearance.
In addition, there’s a significant amount of lymph nodes above and below the collarbone, which are crucial in filtering lymph from the entire body.
The Lymphatic Brush creates movement and disbands any “stickiness” and tangles along the collarbone that can pull on the surrounding structures, causing pain, discomfort or lack of mobility.
💦 improve lymphatic flow
💦 increase range of motion
💦 provide stability, elasticity
💦 reduce joint pain, discomfort
💦 improve posture, alignment
💦 supports a healthy immune system
Use caution and alter treatment if you have:
Bronchitis: don’t use directly over sternum
Menstruation: can make period heavier (avoid abdomen)
Nevus: work around any raised moles
Low Blood Pressure: be careful of over-use, do shorter sessions
Hyperactive Thyroid: do not work on thyroid directly
Do not use if you have:
Active cancer (consult your medical team)
Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
Acute infection or inflammation
