View Part 1 with additional instruction and notes: Ease Jaw Tension
⚠️ ONE TECHNIQUE IS NEVER ABOUT ONE BENEFIT I did two takes when creating this video and while they focus on the same techniques, they contain different information, so I thought I would post. I hate waste, especially when it comes to education and information to support the varying needs of each individual.
💦 Creates a Chain Reaction
It’s important to remember that everything is connected and when performing a particular technique, it’s going to have an effect on the systems and structures surround it.
Knowing your intention is important, but it doesn’t stop the underlying structures and system from responding and taking what they need.
💦 Communication and Transportation Network
The underlying tissue has its own “intranet” or system of communicating with each other and the fluids, fibers and cells work together to maintain balance and protect the body from foreign invaders, unhealthy or disruptive patterns that may affect your well-being and the vibrancy of your skin.
The Lymphatic Brush creates an “external tension” to release adhesions and restrictions that anchor down and contribute to sagging and subsequently, the build-up of fluids and accumulation in the tissue.
Wiggle, zig zag, pulse and sweep outward and downward, following the lymphatic pathways.
Use caution and alter treatment if you have:
Bronchitis: don’t use directly over sternum
Menstruation: can make period heavier
Nevus (Raised Mole): work around
Low Blood Pressure: be careful of over-use, do shorter sessions
Hyperactive Thyroid: do not work on thyroid directly
Do not use if you have:
Active cancer
Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT)
Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
Acute infection or inflammation
